Biography
Carey Wood is an experienced litigator in both state and federal courts prosecuting cases involving defects, breach of warranty, and consumer fraud, with a focus on representation of consumers in Song-Beverly, Magnuson-Moss, and fraud actions against automobile manufacturers. She joined the bar in 2013 doing complex litigation and trial work using skillful advocacy to obtain excellent results for injured individuals. She has been actively involved in the area of lemon law in all phases of litigation, including bench and jury trials.
Prior to joining Consumer Law Experts, Ms. Wood has consistently fought on behalf of consumers in the areas of employment law, elder abuse, personal injury and civil rights to bring justice for her clients. Even before law school, Ms. Wood worked in the area of civil litigation on behalf of individuals. Ms. Wood is passionate about protecting individual consumers’ rights and believes injured consumers should have legal representation and access to justice.
