Attorney FAQ

What undergraduate school did you attend and what did you study? I attended New York University, where I graduated with a Bachelor of Arts, cum laude, in Politics and Psychology.

Why did you choose lemon law? Lemon Law kind of chose me. My favorite class in law school was first year Contracts, and I knew I wanted to do something related when I graduated. A professor at my school helped me apply for and obtain a clerkship with the United States Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (“U.S. EEOC”), which helped me land my first job as an associate attorney working in employment discrimination. That field allowed me to help people while working in a contracts-adjacent area of the law. When I left, I wanted to continue being of service to others while working in an area of the law that is contracts-adjacent/contracts-related, so Lemon Law was a good fit. I get to fight for consumers while working in an area of the law that grew out of (and some would even say, is the evolution of) contract law.

Can you share a notable case or success you’ve had in the past? I’m very proud of having defeated two defense summary judgement motions thus far in my career as a Lemon Law attorney.  Additionally, I’m proud of the work I did in a consumer fraud case, where I was able to obtain a settlement that my client was very happy with in a matter that took quite some time to resolve. I’m also very pleased with some of the settlement amounts I’ve obtained for my clients, which have ranged from $125,000.00 to $207,000.00.
