Attorney FAQs

Why did you become a lawyer? I began my legal career as a paralegal, first working for a firm in Riverside that specialized in Unlawful Detainers, and then for a sole practitioner specializing in Employment Law. I worked for an attorney for four years and grew very close with her. Through her mentorship, I developed a deeper appreciation for the law. In 2015, I took the plunge and entered law school.

Why did you choose lemon law? I have had the privilege of practicing in several different areas of law, but I have found that Lemon Law suits my personality and talents most. I believe that consumer rights are just as important as civil rights. Without consumer protection laws, such as the California Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act (a.k.a. “Lemon Law”) manufacturers and distributors would be able to take advantage of unsuspecting consumers when the vehicle they purchase is defective.

What sets you apart from other lawyers in your field? I think what sets me apart is that I really do enjoy practicing lemon law and have chosen to work in this field for the last six years with no intention of changing specialties in the future. I also understand that people are entrusting me to aid them in enforcing their rights and help them through a difficult process that affects their lives on a daily basis. I do my best to make sure that my clients feel seen and heard, and to make them feel that they are not alone in this fight.
