Elvin M. Vu is an Associate Attorney with an emphasis in representing individual plaintiffs against large automobile companies. Mr. Vu obtained a Bachelor of Science from the California State University, Chico and his Doctor of Jurisprudence from the Golden Gate University, School of Law. Mr. Vu is enthusiastic about fighting against injustices and unfair business practices that harm his clients and is committed to securing a favorable result for them.
Prior to joining Consumer Law Experts, Mr. Vu previously practiced privacy law under the California Constitution, consumer protection cases related to the Unfair Competition Law (UCL), “piece-rate” wage and hour violations, Uber employment misclassification cases, family law, personal injury cases, mass toxic torts under the Federal Oil Pollution Act, and administrative hearings related to the Contractors State Licensing Board.
Before moving to Los Angeles, Mr. Vu was a native to San Francisco, where he was heavily involved with various minority bar associations throughout the bay area, including a position on the board of the Asian American Bar Association of Northern California, and as a committee chair for the Vietnamese American Bar Association of Northern California. Further, Mr. Vu served for several years as the secretary on the board of directors for the community-focused non-profit Vietnamese American Community Center of the East Bay. In his free time, Mr. Vu is a passionate baseball player that has played for various adult recreational teams, including teams that have played at San Quentin Prison.
