Lety Ponce is an Associate Attorney at Consumer Law Experts, PC. She focuses on providing exceptional, client-centered legal representation in matters involving civil litigation. After earning her Juris Doctorate from Loyola Law School, where she received a merit-based scholarship, and passing the California bar, Lety solidified her commitment to the legal profession.
Prior to joining Consumer Law Experts, PC., she worked as an associate attorney representing consumers against auto manufacturers where her primary goal was, and continues to be, to take the burden of the legal process off her clientās shoulders while fighting for the best possible solution. Prior to shifting her focus to consumer protection, Lety gained invaluable experience working as a law clerk at several law firms and the Los Angeles County District Attorneyās Office, specializing in criminal law, contract law and personal injury.
Lety holds a bachelorās degree in political science from UCLA, cultivating her interest in law and public policy. Fluent in Spanish, she has worked as a Spanish interpreter, enabling her to better serve diverse communities.
What undergraduate school did you attend and what did you study?
I went to UCLA where I majored in Political Science and minored in Chicano studies.
Why did you become a lawyer?
I became a lawyer because I witnessed firsthand the injustices faced by inner-city communities. As a daughter of immigrants, watching my parents navigate complex, often unforgiving systems without the tools to protect themselves ignited my passion for advocacy. I chose this profession to be a voice for the voiceless and to fight for fairness.
Why did you choose lemon law?
I chose lemon law because it allows me to act as a crucial advocate for consumers, leveling the playing field against major automotive corporations. Itās a highly rewarding legal path that provides the opportunity to fight for justice and hold large entities accountable for selling defective products.
