Logan Hensley is a Senior Associate Attorney at Consumer Law Experts. P.C. He is committed to being a powerful advocate for his clients, ensuring their voices are heard.

Since dedicating his practice to California’s Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act, the ā€œLemon Law,ā€ Logan has successfully represented hundreds of consumers in claims against the world’s largest automobile manufacturers, recovering millions of dollars in settlements, civil penalties, attorney’s fees, and vehicle repurchases on behalf of his clients.

Before representing consumers, Logan gained valuable insight into the defense side of automotive litigation by representing several automobile manufacturers. That experience gives him a unique understanding of how manufacturers evaluate, defend, and resolve lemon law claims, allowing him to advocate for his clients from a position of strength.

Logan earned his Juris Doctor from Chapman University Dale E. Fowler School of Law, graduating with dual emphases in Advocacy and Dispute Resolution, as well as Criminal Law. He also received the award for Excellence in Trial Advocacy, placing him among only 3% of his class who earned three distinctions upon graduation. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in Psychology from the University of California, at Davis.

As his avocation, Logan is a professionally sponsored race car driver who competes in drift competitions throughout the region. Prior to drifting, he competed in multiple closed-cockpit sports car racing series, consisting of 16-hour wheel-to-wheel endurance races. His extensive experience behind the wheel and under the hood provides a unique technical understanding of vehicle dynamics, performance, and automotive engineering. This firsthand knowledge allows him to more effectively advocate for clients in complex lemon law matters involving vehicle defects, manufacturer repair efforts, and technical automotive issues.

Attorney FAQs

Why did you become a lawyer?
I decided to become an attorney because I experienced what it feels like to need someone to fight for you. After suffering a traumatic sports injury in high school, I found myself in a situation where I needed an advocate to hold others accountable. Seeing the impact my attorney had on my life made me realize that I wanted to be that voice for other people.

Can you share a notable success or case you’ve had in the past?
In a case against Porsche, I was able interpret defense counsel’s settlement offer in a way which provided a total recovery of more than $165,000.00 for a lease which only cost the client approximately $70,000.00. Porsche refused to honor the agreement, and I filed a motion to obtain a court order enforcing the agreement as I interpreted it. Porsche still refused to comply, requiring a total of three Motions to Enforce. Ultimately, after the third straight loss, Porsche paid my client.

What do you enjoy most about practicing law?
What I enjoy most about practicing law is being able to level the playing field. Most of my clients are going up against some of the largest corporations in the world, and they often feel ignored or powerless. I enjoy being the person who gives them a voice, holds manufacturers accountable, and helps them achieve a result they couldn’t obtain on their own.
