Born and raised in Los Angeles, Marlene embraces all aspects of Angeleno life—personal growth, a deep appreciation for nature, and a commitment to closing disparity gaps.
As an attorney, Ms. Ramirez consistently integrates these values into her professional endeavors. Previously, serving as both a self-help attorney and a clients’ rights advocate, she aided individuals in accessing resources and remedies that often seemed beyond reach.
Providing educational workshops and self-advocacy tools, Ms. Ramirez represented clients in obtaining essential services and played an instrumental role in reducing service disparities for those supported by the Eastern Los Angeles Regional Center and the Office of Clients’ Rights Advocacy.
Although deeply rooted in California, Ms. Ramirez pursued her legal education at New York Law School. While New York held undeniable allure, she soon returned to California.
In her spare time, Ms. Ramirez enjoys reading, exploring the outdoors, and spending quality moments with family and friends.
