Attorney FAQ

What undergraduate school did you attend and what did you study? I attended the University of Delaware and earned a B.A. in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Law and Society.

Why did you become a lawyer? Truthfully, I was never set on being a lawyer. After undergrad, I wanted to be a social worker to advocate for juveniles in the justice system. However, my grandmother talked me into Law School, and it opened doors that I didn’t even know were possible in the world of advocacy and social justice. My true passion lies with working with families and children, but I wanted to try Lemon Law to gain litigation experience and try the private sector.

Can you share a notable case or success you’ve had in the past? The most notable case I have had so far was in Pepperdine’s Domestic Violence Clinic. My colleague and I were able to quash our client’s active warrant and expunge her criminal record so that she could start over and live her life freely.
