Attorney FAQs

Why did you choose lemon law? I’ve always had a strong longing to help those who have been seriously wronged within an area or scope of law that is oftentimes overlooked, or that many innocent individuals don’t know they could receive relief under. This is exactly the case with lemon law rights – consumers are not adept with the knowledge they need to proactively protect their rights. My goal is to be the voice for those who deal with the consequences resulting from a lack of awareness at no fault of their own. My previous professional experiences have prepared me with the skills necessary to not only achieve the results my clients deserve, but to come with a sense of understanding, diligence, and communication that makes the process as efficient and effective as possible.

Can you share a notable case or success you’ve had in the past? During my time in law school as student coach for Moot Court’s International Law Competition Team, I self-taught myself international law and human rights law without any prior course or experience/exposure to this area of law, and used this knowledge to write a 55-page brief presented to the judge for the competition. International law, including its cases and citations for briefs, are a completely different animal—it is almost like learning a new language.

What do you enjoy most about practicing law? Fulfillment, both personally and professionally. There is no feeling more exhilarating than knowing you are part of something good that started out of a bad situation. For those of us who feel called to be a voice and advocate, being a source of relief when something goes wrong holds a meaningful place.

Volga is an associate attorney at Consumer Law Experts, PC., focusing on consumer rights law and litigation. Her prior experiences are non-conventional and unique, including collaborative work with law partners in labor and employment law, and business and commercial litigation during law school, and expertise in compliance, regulatory affairs, privacy, and special investigations. Previously, Volga utilized her regulatory compliance skills working for the second largest health plan in California, and led multi-million-dollar projects, including the implementation of the Medicare line of business for the entire Compliance department. These opportunities have provided a myriad of experiences that she brings to her lemon law practice—including the ability to proactively assess risks and issues, provide due diligence in practice, successfully guide sensitive and highly regulated matters, and the ability to communicate effectively both internally and externally for compassionate and zealous advocacy.

Volga graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of San Francisco with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a minor in Legal Studies. She received her Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law with a Business Concentration and a Health Concentration. In law school, Volga was a member of the Moot Court Honors Board as the Student Coach for the International Law Moot Court Competition Team and as Supervisor to the team’s Research Assistant. She was also selected as a Teaching Assistant for Global Lawyering Skills II (the most advanced legal writing and oral advocacy course) as one of seven students total from her entire graduating class.

During her free time, Volga enjoys spending time with loved ones and friends, immersing herself in film, art, and fashion, and travel.
