This Chevrolet driver first noticed issues with his pickup truck at a little over 4,000 miles. He turned the car on, and several warning messages appeared on the dashboard. When he returned to the vehicle, the check engine remained on. The dealership cleared all the codes and checked the system, but they could not find anything wrong with the pickup.

A few months later, our client noticed additional problems with their new car. While driving at highway speeds, they could feel the roof spoiler rattling. The dealership noted that they could hear the rattle but did not perform any work on the car. At around 11,000 miles, our client noticed that their Silverado had a rough idle. The dealer found no fuel problems, misfires, or defects with the idle, however. Following a PicoScope test, the dealer told our client that both engine mounts in the car would have to be replaced. On this visit, the car spent 9 days at the shop.

Less than two weeks after, our client was back at the dealership. This time they noticed that the engine was shaking excessively. The service provider performed several repairs and replaced different components of the car. This time, the car was out of service for 12 days. Problems with the vehicle did not end there.

At around 13,000 miles, the pickup’s check engine light came on. Our client began experiencing rough idle once again. Additionally, the backup camera display became fuzzy. The dealership did several tests and told our client that more parts would need to be replaced on the car. By then, they had had enough. They were beginning to spend far too much money and time on vehicle repairs. Unsure of what to do, our client decided to contact the Lemon Law Experts.
