General Motors recently announced a recall of one of its best-selling model vehicles, the Cadillac CTS. The recall affects approximately 50,000 Cadillac CTS sedans for a defect that can cause a rear wheel to become unstable thereby making it hard for drivers to steer.

The recall affects the model years 2009 and 2010 Cadillac CTS vehicles.

GM announced that the defect can cause nuts in the rear suspension to become loose which can result in a sudden change in the handling of the vehicle and cause the driver to lose control of the vehicle. GM will notify owners of the vehicles that are affected by the recall and local dealers will inspect the vehicles and make the necessary replacements.

If you are driving a 2009 or 2010 Cadillac CTS, and have not yet experienced any problems with your vehicle, take your vehicle to an authorized Cadillac dealership who will assess your vehicle and make any necessary repairs, or you can contact Cadillac at 866-982-2339 for more information.

However, if you have already experienced problems with your 2009 or 2010 Cadillac CTS, you may have a lemon and you may be entitled to your money back or a new vehicle.
