Infiniti Consumers Beware! Infiniti Announces Recall for 2003-2005 Infiniti Q45
Nissan recently announced a recall for approximately 1,349 of its model years 2003 through 2005 Infiniti Q45 vehicles. The recall was announced for faulty dual front side airbags.
In the potential lemon Infiniti vehicles, faulty electrical wiring connecting the airbags can result in the seat mounted side airbags failing to deploy in a collision. As a result, passengers of the affected vehicles have an increased risk of injury in the event of a crash.
To date, Nissan has announced that no injuries or fatalities have been reported.
Nissan stated that they will notify all owners of the affected vehicles of the recall. Owners of the affected vehicles will receive repair work to remedy the problems with the airbags free of charge. Owners can call Nissan at (800) 647-7261 for more information.
If you own a potential lemon Infiniti Q45 and you have presented your vehicle to an authorized Nissan or Infiniti dealership for repair attempts with regard to the airbags, then you may be driving a lemon car and you may be entitled to compensation.
