Why did you become a lawyer? I became a lawyer to fight for people who need justice and are facing an entity with substantial power. Whether my client is facing the government, the police, or a corporation, I have always been passionate about ensuring my client has a dedicated advocate to protect them.
What do you enjoy most about practicing law? I enjoy getting to know my clients and being able to help solve their problems.
Can you share a notable case or success you’ve had in the past? I am proud to have worked with my clients to achieve acquittals in numerous criminal trials.
Michael is an associate attorney at the Consumer Law Experts, PC who represents clients in breach of warranty claims against auto manufacturers. He graduated with a JD from City University of New York School of Law in 2012 and from Wesleyan University with a B.A. in Government and Film Studies in 2006.
He previously worked as a public defender with the Orange County Public Defender’s Office and the Legal Aid Society in New York City. He has also represented plaintiffs in police misconduct actions. During law school he represented prisoners held at Guantanamo and New Yorkers targeted by national security and counterterrorism law enforcement agencies. Prior to law school, he investigated complaints of misconduct against the NYPD.
In his spare time, he enjoys gardening, cooking, cycling, ice hockey and spending time with family and friends.
