What undergraduate school did you attend and what did you study? I attended the University of California, San Diego, where I studied Economics.

What sets you apart from other attorneys in your field? I understand that it’s not about me, it’s about the client. It’s always best to have what the client is requesting in mind, and I always put the needs of the client above my own.

What do you enjoy most about practicing law? I like problem-solving, and in this field, you’re tasked with trying to solve a problem for someone else. I enjoy creating and applying a strategy to obtain the optimal outcome for a client. A new car is an exciting purchase, and it’s something people are excited about. Many people rely on their cars, so having a lemon can be a very stressful situation that brings them a lot of trouble. I enjoy hearing that the weight has been lifted off their shoulders and knowing that the work you’re doing is making an impact.

Outside of work, Tomas enjoys baseball (Go Dodgers), standup comedy, and breweries. His Sundays are spent doing three things he loves: family time, football, and church. On the weekends, Tomas tries to stay active playing sports, going hiking, or doing resistance training.
