LG Recalls over 450,000 Top-Loading Washing Machines Due to Risk of Injury to Consumer!

LG stated that the recall involves three LG and three Kenmore Elite Brand top-loading washing machines that were produced between February 2010 and November 2011. It affects units that were beige, white and graphite in color. The lemon LG washers were sold at retailers, including Best Buy, Home Depot, Kmart and Sears. The lemon Kenmore Elite washers were sold at Kmart and Sears.
This recall is being made due to a hazard to the user. LG stated that due to an unbalanced load, which can cause these top loading washing machines to shake violently. This shaking with these washers can cause the drum to come loose during use, which could pose a risk to the consumer and also cause property damage.
