“First let me say, I was totally satisfied with my dealer and the customer service they provided. I am not happy with the vehicle, however. More then once now, I have accidentally hit one of the gears when either changing a radio station or using the phone. The information system dashboard is too close to the gears and very easy to accidentally press them. I once pressed the ‘engine on/off” button and the car just stopped in the middle of driving. Thank God noone was behind me. I think its a safety hazard to have the gears so close to an area that you are constantly touching, especially to have the “engine on/off” button so close, is dangerous. I wrote to Lincoln and they disputed my claim. I’ll be selling, if I can for more traditional floor gears.”
